Anti-Cheat
To play on the competitive server, open the game through the Anti-Cheat.
To check that the downloaded file is the original, open PowerShell in the download folder and run:

How to use it
Download and run
Accept the administrator permission. If SmartScreen warns you, click "More info" and "Run anyway".
Answer and wait
Pick your Steam account and, if it asks to close Steam or L4D2, type Y and Enter. The game opens and connects by itself.
Play with the window open
When the green ANTI-CHEAT ACTIVE panel appears, you can play. Closing the Anti-Cheat removes your clearance.
What the window shows
Starting / Waiting
Working or waiting for your answer. Do not close it.
Updating
Downloading and installing the new version. It restarts by itself right after. Do not close it.
Active
You are cleared to play.
Failed
Read the reason, close it and open the Anti-Cheat again.
Common problems
About -insecure (no VAC)
The Anti-Cheat opens the game with the -insecure option, which starts it without VAC. That avoids any VAC ban risk caused by the Anti-Cheat, and the l4d2.com.br server also runs without VAC.
With the Anti-Cheat, you can only join servers without VAC, like ours. To play on a server with VAC, close the Anti-Cheat and open the game normally through Steam.

What it sends
- Your Steam ID and profile name
- The Anti-Cheat and Windows versions
- Security and diagnostic events
What it does not do
- It does not take screenshots
- It does not read your documents or files outside the game
- It does not store your IP or write logs on your computer
